Camp Springs, Maryland

Now I am in Maryland at the Holiday Inn Express Washington DC East Andrews Airforce Base.  It looks like this... but I didn't take this picture.  And I did millions of things today before I checked in in here.

I got up this morning in Arlington, VA and went to have breakfast in a room near the lobby of the hotel.  Pretty weird little room.  I dunno; it gave me the feeling like I was eating breakfast in a psyc ward.

Here's what outside looked like this morning:

It was grey and rainy much of today.  Tomorrow is supposed to be better.

I went to Rite Aid this morning in search of a contact case because I forgot mine at home.  Like, I have four or five and I did not remember to bring one with me.  Know what?  Seriously, I could not find a contact case at Rite Aid!  Is that not crazy?  I ended up buying this, just to make do for the week:

I've decided my right eye is my morning eye and my left eye is my evening eye.  For the purpose of organization.

Pretty cool thing I didn't see a year ago when I was up here... so, DC has a bike sharing program, but now they also have a scooter-sharing program!  My understanding is, you rent one of these scooters and ride it around until you don't need it any more, then you find a... docking station, for lack of a better word... and plug it in to charge.  Pretty neat.

Other cool things I saw in Arlington:

Aaaaand... we're doing extremely better in Baton Rouge as far as gas prices!

Plus look at those cool apartments they're building.

In the late morning, I ended up in a shared Uber ride to come to this hotel in Maryland.

Neat, huh.  I have lots more pictures from today and lots more stories but I am wiped out.  Gotta get sleep.  I have to show up for school tomorrow morning.  So, more tomorrow!  Good night!
